Zac

BARK RIVER CROSSFIT MANAGER

Zac began his CrossFit journey when he was just a freshman in high school, developing a passion for fitness. The tightknit CrossFit community sparked Zac’s interest in getting into coaching. He’s been a CrossFit coach for over five years and has achieved the CrossFit Level 2 certification. His love for CrossFit and his passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals has steered him to taking on a managerial role at the new Bark River CrossFit gym!

Pete

CROSSFIT L2 COACH

Pete has nearly a decade of CrossFit coaching experience. While competing in CrossFit competitions, Pete wanted to challenge himself even more, that’s where he found weightlifting. After receiving his level 1 &2 USA Weightlifting certification, he began coaching and opened 262 Barbell Club. He’s now earned his CrossFit level 2 certification and is looking forward to getting stronger with the group at be FITNESS!

SYLVIA

CROSSFIT L2 COACH

After watching a local meet in 2014, Sylvia sparked a passion for Olympic Weightlifting. Since then, she’s competed in several local and state meets, placing her as the Wisconsin state record holder for Masters in her weight class. Her love for sports and fitness has her constantly learning about strength and nutrition to fuel for performance. Whether you’re new to CrossFit or you’ve been competing for years, Sylvia’s ultimate goal is to have her athletes reach their fullest potential.

SEBASTIAN

CROSSFIT L2 COACH

After joining the military, Sebastian started CrossFit as a way to stay healthy and fit. It didn’t take long for him to be hooked on competing, which led him to begin coaching. Sebastian is a level 2 coach and has a degree in exercise science from UW-Whitewater. For Sebastian, CrossFit is his way to worship and glorify God. He believes CrossFit is the cure for one of the world’s most vexing problems, chronic disease, and is proud to be part of the movement for a fitter world.

Katy

CROSSFIT L2 COACH

Katy is determined to make the most out of any training session, whether it’s her own training session, or her members’. Focused on mechanics and proper form, she understands the value of building a solid foundation of proper technique before building strength and skill. A student of the sport herself, Katy brings a true love for CrossFit to the gym. She loves the competition side of CrossFit and competes in many local competitions including the Granite Games in Minnesota. Her passion and desire to raise all athletes, no matter their level, led her to get her CFL1 and CrossFit Gymnastics Certification.

Ryan

CROSSFIT L2 COACH

Ryan grew up playing and loving sports, sparking a passion for health and fitness. That passion led him to earn a degree in biology and exercise science from UW-Lacrosse. He began his CrossFit journey in 2011 before earning his L1 certification just a year later and started coaching. Since then, Ryan has received his Power Athlete Methodology certificate and his L2 and CrossFit master's certificates.
